Murder In Manhattan
For this exercise project, I art directed and designed a murder mystery invitation for a MET donor event that reimagines how an invitation can function as an experience. Inspired by crime photography and Polaroid imagery, the piece takes the form of a custom Polaroid camera that dispenses preloaded film, revealing event details one frame at a time. The visual system draws from 90s grunge and punk aesthetics, with texture, typography, and color working together to create a cohesive, immersive narrative. The result is a distinctive, concept-driven invitation that builds intrigue and establishes a memorable brand moment for donors.
